As the digital world expands, paper remains a ubiquitous material with unlimited possibilities for affordable artistic expression. This series of workshops will introduce participants to the use of paper as a creative and accessible material. Over the three sessions we will play with single sheets of paper to create small books and book forms, we will practice the basics of sewing on paper using simple embroidery (no experience required!), and we will explore both basic and more advanced paper weaving techniques. Participants will leave with models, sample projects, and skills to transform all the beautiful bits of paper that come your way into something personal, creative and decorative.
