Mars has fascinated people since time immemorial. Our knowledge of the red planet has increased exponentially throughout the space age. In this course you will learn about the fly-bys, orbiters, landers, rovers, and helicopter that have visited Mars. The science gains depend on the engineering of the spacecraft and scientific instruments, and we will also talk about their development and operation.
