Holography: The Science And The Art (Tom Cvetkovich) NEW

ID : 5981

« back to classes page
The fascinating (and surprising) concepts behind holography are explained in a historical context of man’s understanding of light. The making of holography is explained and illustrated with an emphasis on where most people get confused. Laser viewable examples, which are rare to see first-hand, will be displayed. The second half of the talk will focus on artists who have specialized in holographic art. This presentation was originally given at the Butler Institute of American Art in 2024 and at the 2012 Symposium of Display Holography at MIT.
