Spend a day with your Osher friends being creative in nature! Discover the joy of connecting with nature in this new, one-day nature journaling workshop at Raccoon Creek State Park. Nature journaling allows you to slow down, practice mindfulness, and make discoveries, while building your observational drawing skills. We will begin indoors with practice activities and inspiration, before going outdoors to make observations & drawings in the park. Ideal for beginners and those who want to enrich their lives with a mindful practice of nature observation. Please dress for the weather! Bring a sketchbook, favorite drawing supplies (colored pencils & eraser) and a brown bag lunch.
