Dirty Tricks: The Follies Of Watergate (Don Goughler) NEW
ID :
5759
« back to classes page
This course examines the personal manipulation of power that led to the resignation of President Nixon. An awkward and whimsical burlesque of high ranking officials conducted a strategy of dirty tricks, endorsed by the president; who, subsequently, engaged in a cover up to save his office. In particular, we will learn where and how these, seemingly zany, activities originated and trace how they evolved among individuals who held and misused the most powerful positions in government leading to a series of criminal acts...And, finally, we explore...why the coverup?
