<p>Though <em>Giselle</em> is more than 150 years old, it remains one of the most important and beloved ballets in the classical repertory. This two-part class explores the meaning and significance of the ballet to the art form and its relevance to audiences today. Session 1 is a basic introduction to the ballet art form; session 2 is a deeper look at <em>Giselle</em>, and its history, context, choreography and meaning.</p>
