Great Decisions (Mark Winer)
ID :

« back to classes page
The Foreign Policy Association annually publishes the
Great Decisions
booklet with readings on major current international affairs issues. The articles contain background information on each topic as well as a discussion of the current foreign policy challenges. Each week of this course we amplify upon and discuss a topic from the booklet. The instructors take turns bringing additional and more up to date information to the class so that we can have lively and informed discussions. This year’s topics include the Middle East, Climate Change, AI and National Security, and U.S.-China relations. With a new Administration in Washington, it should be particularly fascinating to review and discuss these issues and assess how U.S. policy might develop.
