There is tremendous joy and satisfaction to be had in making something with your own hands. Through three sessions at Protohaven, Pittsburgh’s premier makerspace, we’ll give you a chance to share in that feeling by guiding you on your own creative journey. We will set you up with some small projects that you can attempt and allow you to tailor with your own creative flair. This is the high school shop class you’ve never had — or you want to revisit. Our volunteers will provide instruction on three pieces (one per session) of equipment and guide you as you bring your idea to life. Take-away items could include: an ornament made on the wood lathe, a forged steel spoon, a laser-cut and etched plaque, a small quilted item, or a 3D printed fidget spinner!
