This course teaches you how to be a strong declarer in bridge. Let’s face it. Bidding to the right contract is satisfying, but good bidding is useless if you don’t know how to make your contract. And winning more tricks always scores better than winning less tricks. The confidence of knowing you play the cards well puts you at ease in all aspects of the game. Your instructor, Richard Finberg, is an expert card player who has tutored players at all levels, from beginners to Life Masters. He has also written about the game. In this course, you will learn how to play common suit combinations, how to plan the play of the hand, how to establish more winners, when and how to finesse, and how to avoid finesses when possible. Lessons will include lectures, discussion and a chance to practice what you are learning.
